Mayo's encouraging start to the season came to a shuddering halt in Castlebar on Sunday as neighbours Roscommon put the league champions out of the Connacht Championship.
Roscommon have seen off Mayo by 2-08 to 0-10 in the last of the Connacht Senior Football Championship quarter-finals in Castlebar.
