Lando Norris has signed a new contract with the McLaren team that will take him through to the end of the 2025 season in Formula 1.
Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen has said that he wants to avoid a repeat of the 2021 season in terms of the drama and controversy it threw up as he has said that it was ‘not healthy’ for either driver or either of their teams.
The 2021 Formula One Abu Dhabi GP is one of the most talked about sporting events in recent memory.
Formula 1 president and CEO Stefano Domenicali expects Lewis Hamilton to be «fully charged» for the start of the 2022 season. There have been questions over whether Hamilton would return to the sport following the hugely controversial end to the previous campaign when he missed out on the title to Max Verstappen. Ad/> However, Hamilton broke a two-month social media silence last week to declare he is “back” and has reportedly been visiting Mercedes’ team factory in Brackley this week.
Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has said that similarly intense battles with Lewis Hamilton in the years ahead could shorten Max Verstappen’s career in Formula 1, such was the pressure that was on the pair over the course of the campaign.
