FIFA 23 is just days away from release, so EA Sports have dropped the ratings for the female stars set to feature on this year’s game.
With the release of FIFA 23 just around the corner, EA Sports have been slowly releasing players’ ratings for the latest edition of the popular franchise.
England won Euro 2022 and Beth Mead picked up player of the tournament. That much we know, but how could it impact voting for this year’s Ballon d’Or? Our top five for the men’s list is unchanged from last time, but we’ll be debating the order some more next week ahead of France Football unveiling the shortlists on August 12 (the winners are crowned on October 17).
The last quarter-final berth will be filled on Monday night as Group D rivals Iceland, Belgium and Italy bid to secure second place.
Marie-Antoinette Katoto has withdrawn from the French squad after sustaining a serious knee injury during France’s 2-1 over Belgium on Thursday night. Scans on Friday have shown the PSG striker sustained damage to her anterior cruciate ligament. The injury forced her to hobble off after just 17 minutes.
Anita Asante This is a fantastic opportunity for England to reach a European final with huge support from a home crowd, but also they have so much depth and cover in every position. I can see France joining England in the final if they get a good run of form because they have equally strong threats in attack. Tough shout, but England to win.
