South Africa must defeat the Netherlands in the series in order to directly qualify for the 2023 World Cup, which will take place later this year in India, hence the CSA has taken this action.

West Indies' Kemar Roach dominated the morning as he took five for 47 as South Africa, resuming on 49 for four, lost their last six wickets for 67 runs.
