The 150th Open Championships are now underway at St Andrews with Tiger Woods back at the home of golf and the scene of his two victories back in 2000 and 2005. The 15-time major winner had made St Andrews his main personal goal for this year making his comeback after the near-fatal car crash in February 2021.
Ian Poulter insisted he did not hear the boos which greeted him on the first tee of the 150th Open.

Billy Horschel has branded LIV Golf's players «hypocrites and liars» as Ian Poulter prepares to play the Scottish Open this week. Poulter — who signed up for the Saudi-backed LIV Golf series — challenged a suspension and is now eligible to play the event, which starts on Thursday, after the DP World Tour attempted to ban 16 LIV players from competing. Ad/> Horschel does not believe Poulter should have been allowed to play, with the reigning BMW PGA champion not holding back on his view of the rebel LIV players.
