Newcastle must avoid defeat in the French capital to have any chance of reaching the last 16. Qualification looked well within the grasp of Howe's side when they humbled PSG 4-1 on Tyneside in October.
Ousmane Dembele scored his first Paris Saint-Germain goal in stunning fashion as the reigning French champions crushed Monaco 5-2 in Ligue 1 on Friday to cement their lead at the top of the table.
