EWC’s Wojcik Racing Team revving up to “raise the bar” at the Bol

Wójcik Racing Team doesn’t want its fifth place in the 24H SPA EWC Motos to mark the highlight of its FIM Endurance World Championship season and is therefore targeting an even better result when Circuit Paul Ricard hosts the 100th-anniversary Bol d’Or this weekend. The Yamaha-powered, Dunlop-equipped Polish squad’s #77 entry features Mathieu Gines, Dan Linfoot and Sheridan Morais and Team Manager Adam Stępień has high hopes.

P5 just fine for Wojcik EWC team

There were mixed fortunes but plenty of celebration after Wójcik Racing Team claimed a fine top five in the 24H SPA EWC Motos last weekend. Bálint Kovács, Dan Linfoot, Sheridan Morais and linked up to bring the Polish squad’s #77 Yamaha home in fifth position in round two of the 2022 FIM Endurance World Championship. Ad/> Aside from podiums in the 2019 Bol d’Or and 2020 12h of Estoril, the result in Belgium was Wójcik Racing Team’s best yet in the EWC.

A stunning lap from Karel Hanika ensured YART – Yamaha Official Team EWC claimed a second consecutive pole position in this season’s FIM Endurance World Championship, which is returning to the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for the first time since 2001 this weekend. No there’s no track like Spa, says Dunlop Superstock Trophy star Manfredi

Kevin Manfredi can’t compare Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps to any other track – because there’s no track like the venue for round two of the FIM Endurance World Championship. Italian rider Manfredi sampled the 6.985-kilometre track for the first time during testing for the upcoming 24H SPA EWC Motos earlier this month and was a big fan of the ultra-challenging layout.

Onwards and upwards as Wojcik moves on from tough EWC opener

Wójcik Racing Team will use the bad luck it suffered during the 24 Heures Motos as motivation for the rest of the FIM Endurance World Championship season, which resumes with the 24H SPA EWC Motos in June. The frontrunning Polish team was aiming high for the season opener at Le Mans last weekend with its #77 Formula EWC Yamaha sixth fastest and its #777 bike 13th overall and third among the Dunlop Superstock Trophy contenders.
