The DP World Tour has confirmed that players who signed up to play the maiden LIV Golf event will be fined and suspended from future tournaments under its banner. The Tour issued a mandate that fines and suspends players who took part in the first LIV Golf event at Centurion Club in early June, with fines of £100,000 and suspensions from the following events: the Genesis Scottish Open and Barbasol Championship spanning July 7-10, and the Barracuda Championship that commences four days later, running until July 17.
LIV Golf rebels have been warned further sanctions are likely if they continue to play in the Saudi-backed breakaway series after the DP World Tour players involved who “wilfully broke rules” were fined £100,000 and banned from next month’s Scottish Open.
The controversial LIV Invitational Series continues to dominate headlines and split opinion, with the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour both condemning their rival orginisation.

Europe's DP World Tour on Friday (Jun 24) banned players who took part in Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf's inaugural event earlier this month from three upcoming tournaments and also fined them £100,000 (US$122,790) each.

The DP World Tour on Friday banned members who played in the inaugural Saudi-funded LIV Golf Invitational Series event from three tournaments and fined them £100 000 (around R1.9 million) each.
