With back-to-back finals at German Open and All England Championships, Sen is is in the form of his life and will look to be third time lucky as he opens his campaign against world number 25 Lu Guang Zu of China. PV Sindhu Wins Swiss Open Women's Singles Title, HS Prannoy Loses In Final
Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu clinched her second women's singles title of the season with a straight game win over Thailand's Busanan Ongbamrungphan but HS Prannoy went down fighting in the men's singles final at the Swiss Open Super 300 badminton tournament in Basel on Sunday. Playing her second successive final in the tournament, Sindhu, a double Olympic medallist, took 49 minutes to get the better of the fourth seeded Busanan 21-16 21-8 at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel. However, Prannoy suffered a 12-21 18-21 defeat against Asian Games gold medallist and fourth seed Jonatan Christie of Indonesia in a 48-minute summit clash to finish runner-up.

Swiss Open: Kidambi Srikanth Beats Second Seed Anders Antonsen In Nail-Biting Encounter To Enter Semi-Finals
India's Kidambi Srikanth defeated World No. 3 and second seed Anders Antonsen of Denmark in a hard-fought three-game encounter to enter the men's singles semi-final of Swiss Open here at St. Jakobshalle. The world championship silver medallist Srikanth started off well and took an early lead of 9-1 in the opening game but Antonsen fought back valiantly to win 10 points on trot as both the players went into the opening game break with Danish player leading 11-9. Post break the Guntur-born shuttler won three points trot to once again take a lead after a see-saw battle the Indian finally took the opening game 21-19 and go one game up.
