New Zealand quick Trent Boult reclaimed the top spot with 704 rating points as against Bumrah's 703.

However, in the ninth over bowled by Topley, Kohli again outside edged one to wicketkeeper Jos Buttler off a full delivery that fell on the middle and angled away. Hardik Pandya grabbed a career-best 4/24 as a disciplined India bowled out England for 259 with more than four overs to spare in the series-deciding third and final ODI here on Sunday. Skipper Jos Buttler top-scored for England with an 80-ball 60, but it was the flamboyant all-rounder from Gujarat, who dominated the first half of the match with his excellent bowling, sending out a warning to the opponents in the year of the T20 World Cup.

Mohammed Siraj gave India a great start in the third and deciding ODI against England in Manchester on Sunday. Then he got Root, with a ball that shaped away quite late, took the edge and fell into the hands of the fielder at second slip.
