The high-profile IPL 2023 Qualifier 1 between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans could have been witness to a cheeky run out on Tuesday. After CSK had set GT a 173-run target, the defending champions lost quite a few wickets as Vijay Shankar came on to bat. On the second ball of the 14th over, CSK pacer Chahar attempted a run out at the non-striker's end with Shankar being the target. However, Shankar wasn't backing up. Though Chahar removed the bails, it resulted in nothing and even Dhoni could be seen smiling.
Chennai Super Kings tamed a tenacious Gujarat Giants by 15 runs on a sticky surface to enter their 10th IPL final at Chepauk on Tuesday and extend their remarkable consistency in the tournament. CSK did well to reach 172 for 7 on a slow pitch in Qualifier 1 after Hardik Pandya opted to bowl. Considering the conditions, it turned out to be much more than a competitive total as Gujarat Titans had a rare off day to end with 157 all out in 20 overs. Rashid Khan made the CSK fans nervous with a 16-ball 30 towards the end but it was not enough for the Titans.

Gujarat Titans will be squaring off against Chennai Super Kings in the Qualifier 1 of IPL 2023 on Tuesday, at MA Chidambaram Stadium. In their previous meeting this season, the Hardik Pandya-led side registered a five-wicket win over CSK in Ahmedabad. However, things can go the other way as both the teams will now be facing each other at Chepauk, the fortress of the Men in Yellow. Apart from the mouth-watering clash, all eyes will also be on the weather as the fans would not want the rain to play the spoilsport.
Gujarat Titans will be taking on Chennai Super Kings in the Qualifier 1 match of the IPL 2023 on Tuesday, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The defending champions defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets in their last league stage match and finished as the table-toppers with 20 points. On the other hand, the MS Dhoni-led side registered a 77-run victory over Delhi Capitals and finished at the second spot on the points table. It will be an interesting encounter as both the teams will be putting their best foot forward to seal the finale berth.
