The opening laps of the 100th-anniversary Bol d’Or delivered yet more classic FIM Endurance World Championship action last September. Gregg Black, Mike di Meglio, Xavi Forés and Markus Reiterberger all took their turn at the front of the field but it was ERC Endurance-Ducati’s Forés who pulled off the most spectacular pass, overtaking his three rivals with a sensational slipstream move on the Mistral Straight.
