Explosive all-rounder Cameron Green on Thursday replaced injured reserve wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis in Australia's T20 squad. The 27-year-old Inglis sustained an injury in a freak accident while playing golf when his six-iron snapped and cut his hand open at the New South Wales Club in La Perouse. "The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 has approved Cameron Green as a replacement for Josh Inglis in the Australia squad," ICC said in a statement.

Team India had a promising day as they defeated Australia by six runs in the warm-up match of the ongoing T20 World Cup on Monday. After posting a total of 186/7 in 20.0 overs, with KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav hitting half-centuries, the Rohit Sharma-led side bundled out Australia at 180, with Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, taking three and two wickets, respectively. Apart from all these triumphs, one thing which caught everyone's attention was Virat Kohli's brilliant throw, which ended up dismissing Tim David.
Third T20I between Australia and England abandoned due to rain
Canberra on Friday. Needing 130 to win from 12 overs, Australia were 30-3 from 3.5 overs when rain forced the players from the field for the third and final time. England captain Jos Buttler said his team was building up well to the T20 World Cup, after winning the three-match series 2-0. "We made some good strides in Pakistan and we came here (Australia) and continued that form," Buttler said. It was a disappointing end to the match, the last official game for both teams before the World Cup, which starts on October 22. After being sent in by Australian captain Aaron Finch, Buttler smashed 65 from only 41 balls as England reached 112-2 in their 12 overs. Australia, already 2-0 down in the three-match series, then needed 130 to win based on the Duckworth-Lewis method.
