Ever-present WTCR − FIA World Touring Car Cup entrant Comtoyou Racing has underlined its commitment to the series with a four-strong glory bid. It has retained existing trio Nathanaël Berthon, Tom Coronel and Gilles Magnus and re-signed Mehdi Bennani, who won the TCR Europe title as a driver in 2020 and helped the Belgian squad to the teams’ award in the process.

Belgian Magnus succeeded Vernay by lifting the WTCR Trophy and emulating the Frenchman’s achievement of landing an opportunity with a customer racing department for the following season.
Young stars Luca Engstler and Gilles Magnus have been rewarded for their achievements in the 2021 – WTCR FIA World Touring Car Cup by being signed up to Audi Sport customer racing’s official driver squad for 2022.
