Fans were treated to a first look at George Russell in his brand new Mercedes overalls ahead of his first season with the team. The young Briton is set to take to the track for the first time as a permanent driver for the Silver Arrows in testing later this month, before the 2022 season opener in Bahrain on March 20.
He added that his personal focus this year will on improving his own performance and that and his car, while setting himself “micro targets” along the way.

Hamilton has been absent from social media since he was controversially denied a record eighth world title in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December. The 37-year-old was pipped to the crown by Max Verstappen in a hotly-debated conclusion to the Formula One season. With talk that he is considering quitting the sport still widespread, Hamilton, who is contracted to Mercedes until 2023, gave his first public comment for 56 days.
