Al final de MotoGP llegó a crearse un carril que le permitió a los pilotos montar neumáticos de seco, pero ninguno pudo mejorar los cronos del día anterior, ni siquiera un Marc Márquez que lo bordó en las condiciones mixtas del nuevo circuito de Mandalika, en el que regresa por vez primera desde 1997 el GP de Indonesia.
