Following are reactions to Russian and Belarusian players being barred from competing at this year's Wimbledon due to Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.
WTA world No 25 Elina Svitolina has called on tennis' governing bodies to ban all Russian and Belarusian players who fail to denounce Vladimir Putin and Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It comes after reports claimed Wimbledon would officially be banning tennis players from the two nations, stopping the likes of ATP world No 2 Daniil Medvedev from competing in the Grand Slam tournament this summer.
The Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers take place this week as countries look to secure their place in the finals later this year. The Miami Open came to an end on Sunday with 18-year-old Carlos Alcaraz crowned the champion as the youngest man ever to do so.
