"Skill Level Is Not There": India Legend's Damning Verdict On Australia Batters

Former Indian cricket team skipper Dilip Vengsarkar was extremely critical of the Australian batsmen after the visitors were beaten comprehensively in the second match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on Sunday. The first session of Day 3 saw Australia lose eight wickets for just 80 runs with most of them gifting their wickets while playing the sweep shot. Vengsarkar feels that this was the right time to pick the youngster as his sheer pace could've made the difference, especially with the tracks in Australia offering pace and bounce.

Virat Kohli's current form is a hot topic of discussion. Not only has the former Indian cricket team captain failed to score a ton since 2019, his current form also fails to inspire confidence. He had a forgettable recent Tour of England too, where he could not score big in any of the three formats. Kohli is not part of the ODI and T20I squad for the Tour of West Indies.
