England Men's selection panel on Friday named squads for the upcoming three-match T20I series and ODI series versus India. The T20I series will be starting on July 7 at the Ageas Bowl. Yorkshire spinner Adil Rashid has been given permission by the ECB to miss both series to make The Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. Joe Root and Ben Stokes have been named in the ODI squad. After claiming the three-match ODI series against Netherlands, England stand-in skipper Jos Buttler expressed excitement about having great depth in his squad. An unbeaten ton by Jason Roy and an unbeaten knock of 86 runs by Buttler helped England chase the target of 245 runs in just 30.1 overs and at a loss of only two wickets at the VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen. With this win, England white-washed the three-match ODI series with a lead of 3-0. "We've played very well. Brilliant with the ball, good batting as well. There's a lot of cricket coming up which is very exciting, we have great depth in this squad, very excited," said Buttler in a post-match presentation.

England white-ball vice-captain Jos Buttler is in the form of his life. After a dream Indian Premier League season with Rajasthan Royals, the wicketkeeper-batter marked his return to national colours by smashing an unbeaten 162 to help England post a world record ODI score of 498/4 in the first match against Netherlands and then following it up with an unbeaten 86 in the third game to help his team sweep the series 3-0. During the 3rd ODI in Amstelveen on Wednesday, Buttler was once again in imperious touch, hitting seven fours and five sixes in his 64-ball knock. Such was the form Buttler was in on Wednesday, that even when Netherlands pacer Paul van Meekeren bowled a double-bouncing delivery -- with the second bounce outside the pitch -- it didn't stop the 31-year-old from chasing it down and sending the ball into the stands.

Jason Roy and Jos Buttler demolished the Netherlands on Wednesday as England coasted to an eight-wicket victory with nearly 20 overs to spare in the third one-day international, sealing the series 3-0. Roy's 101 not out was his 10th one-day international hundred in Amstelveen, with Buttler, standing in for injured captain Eoin Morgan, smashing an unbeaten 86. Earlier, the Netherlands collapsed from 203-3 in the 40th over to 244 all out, a total that never looked remotely enough against power-packed England. The 50-over world champions again underlined the gulf in quality between the two sides after piling up a world-record total of 498-4 in the first ODI before cantering to victory in the second game by six wickets.
