Max Verstappen says “there is no reason to believe in” his chances of defending his Formula 1 title after a rocky start to the season. Red Bull’s Verstappen has suffered from reliability issues and has failed to finish two of the three races so far in Bahrain and Australia. Verstappen was forced out of Sunday’s Australian Grand Prix after a fuel system issue emerged on his Red Bull car, denying him a likely second-place finish.

Max Verstappen has said it is not yet clear how Red Bull will solve their issues, be it their troublesome reliability or otherwise.

Christian Horner, jefe de Red Bull, confirmó que sospechaban que «una fuga de combustible» obligó a retirarse a Verstappen. “Es una temporada larga y tenemos las bases de un coche rápido y competitivo, pero necesitamos resolver estos problemas rápido”.
