LIV golfers have written a joint letter to the head of the Official World Golf Rankings requesting points are attributed to past and future events in the Saudi-backed breakaway to ensure the "integrity" of the current system.
Saudi Arabia has never been part of the Presidents Cup, which every two years pits the best golfers from the United States against the best from the rest of world - except Europe.
