Paire implodes at French Open with 24 double faults
Benoit Paire was the architect of his own downfall Tuesday in the first round of the French Open as he served 24 double faults in a 6-3, 7-5, 1-6, 7-5 loss to Ilya Ivashka. Frenchman Paire fell at the first hurdle in Paris for the second year running after blowing three set points in the fourth set against the world number 50.
