Barbora Krejcikova made it back-to-back titles on the WTA Tour as she beat world No. 1 Iga Swiatek in a thrilling Ostrava Open final. Czech Krejcikova was a popular winner in her home country as she came from a set down to beat Swiatek 5-7 7-6(4) 6-3.
French and US Open champion Swiatek won 7-6 (7/5), 2-6, 6-4 and equalled Caroline Wozniacki, the last player to win 60 matches in a single season in 2017. The 21-year-old Pole's two-hour and 38-minute win also gave her a 10th successive victory and a spot in her eighth final of the year.

Barbora Krejcikova claimed her first title of the year by beating top seed and home favourite Anett Kontaveit, 6-2 6-3, in the inaugural Tallinn Open final. The victory is her fourth WTA Tour career singles title and her first of the season. She had previously claimed her first three singles titles last year, including a Grand Slam singles title at Roland-Garros in 2021.
