MILAN, Italy : Tottenham Hotspur will be in trouble if they pick up any more injuries, coach Antonio Conte said on the eve of their Champions League last-16 first-leg tie against AC Milan.

Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur will miss the remainder of the season after he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Leicester City, the club has confirmed. The 25-year-old was hauled off in the 65th minute after a nasty knee-on-knee clash with Nempalys Mendy, with Spurs trailing in the game despite Bentancur’s opener in the 14th minute.

LONDON: Arsenal stumbled again as the Premier League leaders were held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford, while Tottenham’s top four hopes were dented by an embarrassing 4-1 defeat at Leicester on Saturday. Mikel Arteta’s side could have moved eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City with a victory at the Emirates Stadium. But Arsenal could not hold on to the lead given to them by Leandro Trossard’s first goal for the club in his fifth appearance since his January move from Brighton.
