The 26-year-old Italian registered a 6-4, 6-3 win over Van de Zandschulp in the semi-finals of the tournament. The match was also affected by rain but that did not stop a determined Berrettini from marching into the title clash. After the match, the Italian had another reason to smile about. While speaking to the broadcasters following his win, a fan from the crowd proposed to Berrettini and his reply left everyone in splits.
