PARIS : Carlos Alcaraz has reached two Grand Slam quarter-finals and lost both but the teenage sensation has no doubt he will soon win a major, once he improves his concentration.
PARIS : Alexander Zverev appeared calm as a monk compared to the exuberance of his teenage opponent Carlos Alcaraz during their gruelling French Open quarter-final on Tuesday and the German believes reining in his emotions was crucial to his win.
PARIS : Rafa Nadal broke world number one and reigning champion Novak Djokovic's serve twice to take the opening set 6-2 in 52 minutes in their French Open quarter-final on Tuesday.
Eurosport expert John McEnroe has given his views on fans booing world No. 1 Novak Djokovic as he walked out for his huge quarter-final with Rafael Nadal.
Alexander Zverev believes Carlos Alcaraz will win the French Open multiple times but cut a relieved figure when sending the Spaniard packing this time around. Alcaraz headed to Roland-Garros as one of the favourites, but the 19-year-old’s run ended at the quarter-final stage as No. 3 seed Zverev won through in four sets.
PARIS — When Roland-Garros organizers added night sessions to the schedule for the first time last year, they had matches such as Tuesday's slate in mind, as Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal go head-to-head for a place in the semifinals.
