NEW DELHI : Ravindra Jadeja claimed a career-best 7-42 and combined with Ravichandran Ashwin to bundle out Australia for 113 and put India on course for a comprehensive victory in the second test on Sunday.
Veteran India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin on Friday achieved multiple milestones on Day 1 of the second Test against Australia. Ashwin, who crossed the landmark of 450 Test wickets in the last match, has now become only the 2nd Indian bowler to pick up 100 wickets in Tests against Australia. The 34-year-old dismissed Alex Carey (0) to achieve the feat. Former India captain Anil Kumble (111) is the only other bowler with 100 or more scalps against Australia in the longest format of the game.

It will be Kohli's first international game in Delhi since an ODI he played in the state way back in March 2019. Talking about his last apperance in Test cricket in the state, it came more than five years ago; December 2017 to be precise. On return to his birthplace, Kohli took out his time to drive his way to the stadium.
