Pakistan suffered a 79-run loss to Australia in the second Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday. The result saw the guests also losing the series with a match to go. Pakistan cricket team director Mohammad Hafeez believes that "inconsistent umpiring and technology curse" cost the side the match. It is worth noting that Pakistan needed 98 runs with 5 wickets in hand in the chase of 317 when Mohammad Rizwan was caught behind. The ball hit the wristband of Rizwan's glove and Alex Carey took the catch behind the stumps.

In a rare sight, Australia collected five runs without any boundaries or no ball in the second innings of the ongoing Boxing Day Test against Pakistan in Melbourne. The incident happened after play resumed on Day 4 with Australia captain Pat Cummins and wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey in the middle. Cummins pushed Aamer Jamal's delivery through point as he and Carey sneaked a couple of runs. However, the throw to the bowler's end was missed by Jamal and it resulted in an overthrow.
Australia set Pakistan victory target of 317 in second test
MELBOURNE : Pakistan were set an imposing victory target of 317 runs on the fourth day of the second test on Friday after bowling Australia out for 262 before lunch.

During the action on Day 3, Ali was fielding at the boundary and he decided to try out some dance moves. The spectators behind him did not hesitate and they also joined in with the Pakistan cricketer. Ali ended up doing a couple of moves that the fans replicated and at the end of it, he applauded the fans for their effort. The video of the entire incident has already gone viral on social media.
