Aiming to continue their good showing from the previous match, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) face Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match 21 of the ongoing IPL 2022 season at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai, on Sunday. SRH won their first game of the season on Friday, defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by eight wickets. Opener Abhishek Sharma was in top form against CSK, smashing 75 runs off 50 balls in his side's chase of 155 runs. SRH posted 155 for two in 17.4 overs, with Sharma hammering five fours and three sixes. Meanwhile, Washington Sundar and T Natarajan were in fine bowling form and bagged two dismissals each as CSK posted 154 for seven in 20 overs.

SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) have really struggled so far this season, and will look to register their first win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday. SRH suffered a crushing defeat in their first match against Rajasthan Royals (RR), before losing to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a close contest. The batters haven't really showed consistency, but their bowling have been pretty decent so far. The SRH thinktank is likely to make a few changes as they look to get their season up and running.
Chennai Super Kings. Three losses in a row at the beginning of the IPL is unchartered territory for the four-time champions and now they face fellow strugglers Sunrisers Hyderabad who have also lost both their games so far. As SRH try to come to terms with the fact that they don't have a Rashid Khan to fall back upon anymore, CSK's problems have been manifold - injuries to key pacers and lack of form of top-order being the discordant notes. While Dwayne Bravo, Dwaine Pretorius and Chris Jordan have looked decent at the death, it's the lack of incisiveness of the attack early on that is hurting the franchise. With injured Deepak Chahar still not available, CSK are desperate to find someone who can give them the early wickets, but no one has really looked threatening.
SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) had a season to forget last year, and their lacklustre run continued in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign, having lost both of their games so far. After being thrashed in their first match by Rajasthan Royals (RR), SRH narrowly lost out to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Monday. After the conclusion of the match against LSG, former Pakistan skipper Salman Butt was not impressed by SRH's performance, saying that there's "something wrong" with the franchise.
Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson said that although there were enough glimpses on Tuesday during the chase of 170 to take the side home against Lucknow Super Giants, it wasn't good enough to do so. In their chase of 170, SRH were ahead in the contest when Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram had a 47-run stand, which was followed by Nicholas Pooran's 24-ball 34. But in the last three overs, where SRH needed 33 runs, Avesh Khan and Jason Holder took two and three wickets respectively to hand LSG a 12-run win.

The move was worth it as his excellent bowling acted as the catalyst for his team's 12-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday. Heading into the lucrative T20 league as the most expensive uncapped Indian player, Avesh picked up four big wickets for only 24 runs and bowled a brilliant 18th over to turn the match decisively in LSG's favour.
