Rayos, truenos y centellas golpearon el Club de Southern Hills en Oklahoma, sede del PGA Championship 2022, antes del tercer recorrido del segundo major de la temporada. El calor de días precedentes en Tulsa daba paso a un cambio de tiempo (17 grados menos de temperatura que el viernes), que incluso retrasaba el inicio de la jornada, pero nadie podía presagiar que la tormenta no vendría únicamente de romperse el cielo sino del propio tapete verde.
