WILMINGTON, Del. — Patrick Cantlay was part of an All-Star chasing pack until he holed out from 106 yards for eagle and carried that to a 6-under 65 on Saturday, giving him a one-shot lead and a chance to become the first back-to-back winner of the BMW Championship in the FedEx Cup era.

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Keegan Bradley hasn't been to the FedEx Cup finale in four years, and he started the BMW Championship on Thursday like he was in a hurry to get back.
The BMW Championship, the penultimate event on the PGA Tour, takes place this weekend at the Wilmington Country Club in Delaware. The field of 68 players will compete for 30 spots in next week's Tour Championship, as well as a share of the $15 million dollar purse. One of golf's elite players won't be in attendance, as No. 2-ranked golfer Cameron Smith pulled out of this weekend's event because of a lingering hip injury.
