The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday announced that the World Test Championship finals in 2023 and 2025 will be played at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London. "The IBC Board approved Lord's Cricket Ground as the host for the ICC World Test Championship Finals in 2023 and 2025," stated an official ICC media release, which came out on Tuesday evening.
India to host Women's ODI World Cup in 2025
World Cup in 2025 as the BCCI has successfully bid for the mega event during the ICC Annual Conference that concluded in Birmingham on Tuesday. Three other ICC women's events were also awarded on the day with Bangladesh hosting the 2024 T20 World Cup and England winning hosting rights for the 2026 edition. ICC terminates Cricket Russia's membership
Russia was suspended in 2021 due to continued non-compliance since July 2019 with ICC's membership criteria. According to ICC, Cricket Russia didn't have the appropriate status, structure, recognition, membership and competence to be recognized by the ICC as the primary governing body in the country. Russia didn't have in place a detailed governance system that is fit for purpose includes, as a minimum a detailed written constitution containing provisions covering membership, AGMs and voting rights, and adequate integrity related rules and regulations covering anticorruption, anti-doping and ethics.

The ICC Board on Tuesday approved Bangladesh, India, England and Sri Lanka as the four host countries of the ICC women's white ball events from 2024-2027. The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 will be hosted by Bangladesh for the second time, with the 2026 edition going to England for the first time since 2009. The next ICC Women's Cricket World Cup in 2025 will be staged by India and Sri Lanka will host the ICC Women's T20 Champions Trophy 2027 subject to them qualifying for the event.
