Ishan Kishan Set To Play Domestic Cricket On National Selectors' Advice: Report

Star wickekeeper-batter Ishan Kishan, who was stripped off the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI's) central contracts for 2023-24 for missing domestic cricket, is all set to make a comeback for Jharkhand, stated a report. It added that the southpaw has been included in the 25 pre-season probables announced by Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) and that he took the decision after consluting "some well-wishers and national selectors". Ravi Shastri Hails Jasprit Bumrah, Compares Him To Prime Wasim Akram

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri stopped just short of calling Jasprit Bumrah a magician with the ball and said the pacer's standout moments in the T20 World Cup in the Americas were India managing to thwart Pakistan's charge in the group stage and Rohit Sharma's side pulling the rabbit out of the hat in the final against South Africa. India managed to defend a paltry 119 in their Group A clash against the arch-rivals, winning the contest by six runs with Bumrah changing the momentum of the game by getting rid of the dangerous Mohammad Rizwan to send Pakistan into a free fall when they were chugging along nicely at 80/3.

"Not Like We Meet Very Often But...": MS Dhoni Opens Up On His Bond With Virat Kohli

Former Indian World Cup-winning skipper MS Dhoni opened up on his relationship with star India batter Virat Kohli, with whom he shared many memorable moments and partnerships over the course of his illustrious career. Dhoni was speaking recently at an event in Hyderabad. Speaking about his relationship with Virat, Dhoni said that whenever they meet, they make sure to have a chat with each other. "We have been colleagues who played for India for a very long time. He (Kohli) has been amongst the best when it comes to world cricket. And the fact that I could bat a lot with him during the middle overs was a lot of fun because we used to take a lot of twos and threes in the game, so it has always been fun. It is not like we meet very often, but whenever we get a chance, we make sure that we go on the side and chat for sometime, we will talk about what is going on, so that is our relationship," said Dhoni.
