"Unless Pakistan Cricket Board Decides To Pull Out...": ICC's New Plan On Champions Trophy Revealed

The International Cricket Council has sought a response from the Pakistan Cricket Board on hosting the Champions Trophy in a hybrid model following India's refusal to travel to the country for the tournament. The PCB on Sunday had confirmed that it received an email from the ICC that India declined to travel to the neighbouring country. "Unless the PCB decides to pull out of hosting the Champions Trophy the current plan is to hold India's matches in UAE and the final in Dubai," a source told PTI on Monday.

Noman Ali Announced ICC Men's Player Of The Month For October

Pakistan left-arm spinner Noman Ali has been announced as the ICC Men's Player of the Month award for October on Tuesday following his exceptional performance in the recently concluded three-match Test series against England. His heroics across the series were enough to edge South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada and New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner to claim the monthly award and become the first men's winner from Pakistan since Babar Azam was rewarded in August last year.

"Need Someone Who...": Ex-India Star Suggests Big Change In Playing XI Against South Africa

Former Indian cricket team batter Robin Uthappa believes that Ramandeep Singh should be given a chance in the third T20I encounter against South Africa. India's batters struggled massively as the Suryakumar Yadav-led side slumped to a heavy loss in the second T20I clash on Sunday. A glaring problem with the side on Sunday was the lower-order batting and Uthappa said that Ramandeep can add a lot of solidity at No. 8. During a discussion on JioCinema, Uthappa pointed out that Ramandeep should be handed his debut on Wednesday as he can also provide a decent bowling option to the team.

3rd T20I: India Eye Batting Revival Against South Africa At Centurion

Indian batting line-up need to get its mojo back against a resurgent South Africa to regain the lost ground on rather unfamiliar SuperSport Park conditions when the two teams clash the third T20I in Centurion Wednesday. Since 2009, India have played only one T20I at this venue, which they lost by six wickets in 2018 and have only one survivor from that squad in this side -- Hardik Pandya. Along with that unfamiliarity factor, India will also grapple with the ordinary form of their batters, particularly when the pitch here is touted to be similar to the one at Gqeberha – quick and bouncy.

PCB Warned Over Stubborn Champions Trophy Stance, Report Says ICC Could Shift Event To...

Trouble seems to be brewing for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over their stubborn stance of hosting the entire ICC Champions Trophy in the country next year. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) that the Indian team would not travel to Pakistan for the event, over security concerns. Since India's stance became official, the PCB has reportedly also threatened to pull out of the tournament, as a mark of protest against India's stance.

"If I Can Play One Champions Trophy...": Afghanistan All-Rounder Mohammad Nabi

Following the ODI series win against Bangladesh, former Afghanistan skipper Mohammad Nabi said he wants to play in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy which is scheduled to take place next year in Pakistan. The 39-year-old played a massive part in ensuring Afghanistan clinched a 2-1 series triumph over Bangladesh in Sharjah on Monday as they registered a narrow five-wicket victory on the back of an eighth ODI century from opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz. It was Afghanistan's third consecutive series victory following successes over Ireland and South Africa earlier this year
