Ireland's women's 7s team have qualified for the World Cup in South Africa later this year after making it to the semi-finals of the Rugby Europe qualifying competition in Bucharest.

Hosts Zimbabwe defeated the Netherlands by 37 runs on Sunday in the final of a Twenty20 World Cup qualifying tournament and will play Ireland, Scotland and the West Indies at the finals.
