John Parry, Daniel Hillier Confirm Participation In Hero Indian Open
England's John Parry and New Zealand's Daniel Hillier, both in outstanding form, have confirmed their participation in the 2025 Hero Indian Open, scheduled to be held at the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurguram from March 27 to 30. The tournament, sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Indian Golf Union, will feature 138 players from nearly 30 countries competing for a prize purse of USD 2.25 million. Both Parry and Hillier are currently in Top-5 of the Race to Dubai rankings on the DP World Tour.
Guwahati's Date With History: Set To Host Its First Test, Women's World Cup Match In 2025
Assam's largest city Guwahati is set to be the first Test cricket venue in the northeast region when India take on South Africa here in November, BCCI general secretary Devajit Saikia said on Sunday. The city will also host its first-ever world cup match later this year during the ICC Women's ODI World Cup, he said. "No Test and world cup matches have been played in Guwahati so far. But, as per the decision taken at the BCCI apex council meeting on Saturday, Guwahati will host both those matches this year," Saikia said.

According to a report, Irfan has not been included in the commentary panel for IPL 2025. ICC Cricket Committee To Decide On World Test Championship Revamp In April Meeting
ICC chairman Jay Shah on Saturday confirmed that the Sourav Ganguly-led Cricket Committee will take a final call on the proposed revamp of the World Test Championship for the 2025-27 cycle next month. The 16-member Cricket Committee is headed by former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly and includes former cricketers VVS Laxman, Daniel Vettori, Mahela Jayawardene, and Shaun Pollock, among others. "Proposals have come in, but I am not fully aware of them. The Cricket Committee will make the decision," Shah, who was in Kolkata for the IPL 2025 opener, told PTI.

Right-arm quick Matt Henry has been ruled out of New Zealand's last two T20Is against Pakistan and will continue "his injury rehabilitation programme." New Zealand Cricket (NZC) released a statement on Saturday to confirm the experienced quick's omission from the series, "BLACKCAPS pace-bowler Matt Henry has been ruled out of the remainder of the KFC T20I series against Pakistan as he continues his injury rehabilitation programme." Despite a shoulder injury, Henry was included in New Zealand's squads for the fourth and fifth T20Is against Pakistan. Henry injured his right shoulder during the recent ICC Champions Trophy semi-final win against South Africa. He has also been managing an ongoing left knee issue.
India To Host West Indies For Tests In October, South Africa Home Series In November
India will host the West Indies after 12 years in a two-match Test series in October while South Africa will arrive in the country for an all-format tour in November. India will take on the Windies in the first Test at Mohali from October 2, while the second Test will be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata from October 10, the BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla informed PTI. The West Indies' previous Test tour to India was in 2013-14, which was also the final international outing for batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar. The Caribbeans' last visit to India was in 2022 for three ODIs and as many T20Is.
