According to FIFA, the Super Eagles, who were ranked number 36 in the world in October, are now the 44th-best team, falling by eight points. The drop, however, did not affect Nigeria’s standing in Africa, where they remain the continent’s fifth-best team behind Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria.
