BCCI Unlikely To Support Asia Cup Hybrid Model, Final Decision At ACC Meeting: Report

The BCCI will not support Najam Sethi's proposed hybrid model of hosting the Asia Cup wherein four preliminary round and two super four games will be held in Pakistan with India's matches and the final taking place in a neutral country. India Eye Winning Run Against Pakistan in Men's Junior Asia Cup Hockey

India would look to continue their winning momentum after two commanding victories but they ill-afford to drop their guards when they face arch-rivals Pakistan in a Pool A match of the Men's Junior Asia Cup on Saturday. India thrashed Chinese Taipei 18-0 in their opening match, before beating Japan 3-1. But they will have their first real test of the tournament in the form of a confident Pakistan who have also notched up resounding wins over Chinese Taipei (15-1) and Thailand (9-0). India captain Uttam Singh said the two wins had instilled a lot of confidence in his team but admitted that the match against Pakistan will be a "close contest".

'Old Man' And A 'Pretender': Shubman Gill Gets Ready To Spoil MS Dhoni's Farewell Party

Mahendra Singh Dhoni wouldn't mind a 'Farewell to Remember' but a young Shubman Gill, oozing grace, would do everything under his control to prevent Chennai Super Kings from beating Gujarat Titans to its fifth IPL title, in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Nearly 19 summers back when a young Dhoni was making his first strides in India blue, a four-year-old Gill was taking stance on a vast farmland in Punjab's Fazilka village on Pakistan border, with a handmade customised bat, prepared by his doting grandfather.

'I am isolated because all my top leadership was arrested': Pakistan's Imran Khan

Dozens of Khan's supporters who are suspected of attacking army installations during protests that followed his arrest have been handed over to the Pakistani military for trials. This "new tactic (...) of military courts basically means the end of our democracy," Khan said. He denounced an "unprecedented crackdown" by a government "desperate to dismantle" his party, comparing it to Adolf Hitler using the 1933 fire of the Reichstag in Berlin to go after his enemies.
