A video of Pakistan star Azam Khan's wicketkeeping is going viral on social media. The clip is from a Global T20 Canada match in which the 24-year-old could be seen singing behind the stumps and sledging his fellow countrymate Mohammad Haris during the latter's batting. It was a match between Khan's team Mississauga Panthers and Haris' side Surrey Jaguars at CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario on August 2. The Jaguars were chasing a paltry target of 57 runs and Panthers wicketkeeper Khan was trying his level best to distract the opponent batter Haris.

Pakistan star pacer Shaheen Afridi entered The Hundred competition with a bang as he took two wickets on his first two deliveries for the Welsh Fire against Manchester Originals on Wednesday. Due to rain, the match got reduced to 40 balls-per side and the Fire posted a total of 94/3 after being asked to bat first. However, the Originals fell short by 9 runs as they were restricted to 85/4. Shaheen played a huge role in the Fire's victory as he dismissed Phil Salt and Laurie Evans in the first over.

Well-placed at 77 for 3 in the 11th over thanks to debutant Tilak Varma's top score of 39 and 21 from Suryakumar Yadav, India then lost six wickets for just 68 runs. Ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is exploring the possibility of sending a psychologist with the squad to India to cope with the pressures of the high-profile tournament. However, a final decision in this regard will be taken only after PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf's meeting the captain Babar Azam. Azam is currently playing for Colombo Strikers in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).

Inzamam-ul-Haq Set To Take Over As Pakistan Team Chief Selector: Report

Former Test captain Inzamam-ul-Haq is set to take over as Pakistan team chief selector even as director Mickey Arthur and head coach Grant Bradburn will know by next week whether they will remain part of the national selection committee. A source in the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that Inzamam has given his consent to becoming a paid chief selector again after he held the position between 2016 and 2019. "The Cricket Technical Committee members including Misbah ul Haq, Inzamam and Muhammad Hafeez have been discussing the new selection committee and it is yet to be decided whether Arthur and Bradburn should remain members on it," the source told PTI.

World Cup Schedule: Pakistan vs England Game In Kolkata May See Date Change

The Cricket Association of Bengal on Saturday requested ICC recce team about concerns raised by local security agencies with regards to World Cup match between Pakistan and England on November 12 coinciding with Kali Puja. If BCCI and ICC have to accommodate another date change, then Pakistn will have a third change in schedule. This is after rescheduling of India vs Pakistan game (October 14 instead of 15 in Ahmedabad) and Sri Lanka vs Pakistan game (now on October 10 in Hyderabad instead of October 12).
