David Warner "Probably Our Greatest Ever All Three Format Player": Australia Head Coach Andrew Mcdonald

Australia head coach Andrew McDonald on Saturday showered praise on David Warner and said that he is probably the greatest all-format Aussie player. Speaking to cricket.com.au ahead of the third Test match against Pakistan, McDonald said that Warner's retirement from the Test format would be a great loss for the Aussie squad. The Aussie head coach added that it would be hard to find the left-handed batter's replacement. "In time, he will probably go down...but probably at the moment as it sits, he is probably our greatest ever all-three format player. He is going to drop out of one of those formats in terms of Test match cricket. He will be a loss. I know that people have been gunning for him for a period of time, but for us internally, we have seen the great value in what he brings to the table, hence why we have kept picking him. He repaid a bit of that faith in the first Test match. He's going to be hard to replace. Someone who strikes at 70 averaging 45, and most ever runs as an Australian opener," McDonald said.

"Lost 16 Matches In A Row": Iceland Cricket's Jibe At Pakistan, Mohammad Hafeez Goes Viral

Iceland Cricket has taken a jibe at Mohammad Hafeez after the Pakistan cricket team director claimed that "inconsistent umpiring and technology curse" cost them the second Test match against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday. "We made some mistakes as a team, we will take that, we will address those things, but at the same time I believe inconsistent umpiring and technology curse (has) really given us the result which should have been different," said Hafeez in the post-match press conference.

Pat Cummins: From Championship Titles To Personal Demons, Inspiring Australia Skipper Conquers Everything

2023 will be remembered as the year of skipper Pat Cummins, as the silent, smiling Australian assassin guided the multi-time World Cup-winning side to numerous memorable championship title wins and concluded the year with a huge win over Pakistan in the Boxing Day Test, in which he also took a ten-wicket haul. The year is definitely not the one to remember for Cummins on a personal front, as he lost his mother Maria to breast cancer in March of this year.
