Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn And Andrew Puttick Resign From Pakistan's NCA

Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn and Andrew Puttick have resigned from their respective positions at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore, announced the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday. "Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn and Andrew Puttick, who were assigned duties at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore after a change in their portfolios in November 2023, have resigned from their respective positions," said a statement from PCB. In the aftermath of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, Pakistan introduced a new group of coaching staff and reassigned Arthur, Bradburn, and Puttick to roles with the NCA.

The Pakistan cricket team fans are not happy after the DJ at the University Oval, Dunedin played wrestler Big Show's World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) entrance music for wicket-keeper Azam Khan during the third T20I match against New Zealand on Wednesday. As Azam came out to bat in the 11th over of the Pakistan innings, the DJ played the music in the stadium and it enraged a lot of fans. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the matches to be hosted in New York in the upcoming T20 World Cup. The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, which could accommodate 34,000 spectators, is scheduled to host the bitter cricketing neighbours for a mouth-watering clash on June 9 and is among eight T20 World Cup matches.

Temporary drop-in pitches prepared by Adelaide Oval curator Damian Hough will be used for the upcoming T20 World Cup games in the USA with the ICC building a temporary seating gallery of 34,000 capacity for the marquee game between India and Pakistan in New York on June 9. ICC's Event Director Chris Tetley informed that the high-profile Indo-Pak clash will be held at the Nassau County ground, which is 25 km from east of Manhattan and the temporary gallery that will hold "more spectators than any ground in England as well as Wankhede Stadium" in Mumbai.
