But the two players have once again interchanged places with Jadeja back on top with 385 rating points.
The crowd at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore were witness to a spectacular catch from visiting Australian captain Pat Cummins, who grabbed a screamer off his own bowling to see the back of Azhar Ali for 78 runs. On Day 3 of the third Test, the Pakistan batters made the bowlers work hard for their wickets before spinner Nathan Lyon got the first breakthrough of the day, getting rid of Abdullah Shafique for 81 runs. However, Ali continued to impress as he picked up from last night and completed a magnificent half-century.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season is truly upon us and the tournament is just three days away. The opener will be contested between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium. With Australian players being involved in the ongoing series against Pakistan, chief mentor of the franchise, David Hussey has provided a big update on the availability of Pat Cummins and Aaron Finch. "Well, it is a concern, you want your best players available, but international cricket should be the para-limit. Every cricketer should want to play international cricket for their countries so they have commitments that way. I think Cummins and Finch will miss the first five games but they will be cricket fit and cricket ready," said Hussey during a virtual press conference.
Kolkata Knight Riders mentor David Hussey feels new skipper Shreyas Iyer has a good cricketing brain and has proved his skills as a leader during his stint as Delhi Capitals captain. Iyer, who led Delhi Capitals to the final in 2020, was bought by KKR for Rs 12.25 crore at the mega auction last month. He was named captain by KKR team management ahead of pacer Pat Cummins, who leads the Australian Test side.
