The broadcast of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) could be in jeopardy in coming days with all the experienced Indian crew members in PCB roster set to be replaced after escalating cross-border tensions in the aftermath of Pahelgam terrorist attack. Pakistani terrorists are believed to be behind the killing of 26 Indian nationals, who were visiting Kashmir's Pahalgam area. A concerned PCB source said: "Since more than two dozen of the production and broadcast crew of the PSL, included Indian nationals. Steps are being taken to replace them. The broadcast and production crew includes engineers, production managers, cameramen, player-tracking experts (all Indian nationals), who ensure a smooth coverage of the PSL." The National Security Council after a meeting in Islamabad, on Thursday, announced that all Indian nationals in Pakistan should leave the country in the next 48 hours.

The broadcaster was the one of the platforms officially streaming PSL matches in India. It telecast the first 13 matches of Pakistan Super League, where all top members of the Pakistan cricket team as playing. Several reports claimed that the decision was taken on Friday. On Friday morning, all PSL content on the platform was leading to an 'Error' page and then no content of the PSL was available on the platform.

Pakistan's Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem on Wednesday said he has declined Neeraj Chopra's invitation to compete in the NC Classic javelin event in Bengaluru on May 24 as that will clash with his training schedule for the upcoming Asian Athletics Championships. Nadeem, however, said he was grateful to Chopra for inviting him for the event. "The (NC) Classic event is from 20th May (May 24) whereas I am scheduled to leave for Korea on 22nd May for the Asian Athletics Championship," Nadeem said. He said he had been training hard for the Asian Championship which will be held in Gumi, Korea from May 27 to 31.
All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Kalyan Chaubey expressed deepest condolences on the tragic loss of lives in the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam and described it as a "senseless act of violence". The brutal attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on Tuesday killed 26 civilians, mostly tourists and left many more injured. "On behalf of the entire Indian football fraternity, we express our deepest condolences on the tragic loss of lives in the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam. This senseless act of violence has taken away innocent lives and left families and communities shattered. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims during this heartbreaking time," Chaubey said as cited in the AIFF.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president Rajeev Shukla reinforced that India will not play any bilateral cricket against Pakistan in the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Kashmir's Pahalgam. India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since 2012-13 when Pakistan travelled to India for a limited-overs series. India last went to Pakistan in 2008. The only time the two teams face each other is during international competitions with Pakistan coming to India for the ODI World Cup 2023. However, India refused to travel to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025 and their matches - including the match against Pakistan and the final - were held in Dubai.
