Eddie Jones resumes contentious secondary role in Japan

Eddie Jones has resumed his controversial role with Japanese club Suntory Sungoliath just over two weeks after England collapsed to another disappointing Six Nations. The Rugby Football Union has stated that it is comfortable with the work he does with Suntory, even though it means its head coach is working with top players from rival countries. Last year Jones gave advice to New Zealand fly-half Beauden Barrett and on this occasion he is coaching players including All Blacks star Damian McKenzie and Australia centre Samu Kerevi.

Watch: CSK Star Emulates Legendary West Indies Batter's Pull Shot, Exclaims "We See Lara!"

Despite having a poor start to his Indian Premier League (IPL) career, Devon Conway seems to be working on his batting skills ahead of his next opportunity for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In a recent video posted by CSK on social media, the Kiwi cricketer showcased his pull shot technique and compared it to Brian Lara's. After playing the shot during training, he also exclaimed, "we see Lara!"

IPL 2022: Abdul Samad, Abhishek Sharma Face Fans' Ire After SRH's Defeat To LSG

Ahead of the all-important IPL mega auction, SunRisers Hyderabad decided to retain three players -- Kane Williamson, Abdul Samad and Umran Malik -- raising a few eyebrows with their choice of retentions. The team let go of superstars like David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Rashid Khan and Jason Holder to name a few. They then went on to splash Rs 6.5 crore on Abhishek Sharma, a player who had been with the franchise. While their decision to put faith in youngsters under the leadership of New Zealand's premier batter was applauded by many, it is yet to bear fruit in IPL 2022.
