Watch: Shaheen Afridi Concedes 4 Sixes In 1 Over, Taken To Cleaners By Tim Seifert

New Zealand completed another dominant victory against Pakistan in the second T20I of the 5-match series on Tuesday, beating the tourists by 6 wickets in a rain-marred contest. Batting first, Pakistan put a decent total of 135/9 on the board, in a 15-over-per-side contest but New Zealand chased it down with ease. Much like the first T20I, Pakistan bowlers failed to step up to the challenge against the Kiwis. Even the travelling side's marquee pacer, Shaheen Afridi, was torn apart by the hosts' batters.

No Jokic, no problem as Gordon, Nuggets stun Warriors

LOS ANGELES, United States: Aaron Gordon scored 38 points as the Denver Nuggets shrugged off the absence of Nikola Jokic to halt the Golden State Warriors’ seven-game winning streak with a 114-105 victory over their NBA Western Conference rivals on Monday. A dazzling display from Gordon inspired what was ultimately a comfortable win for Denver, who were missing regular starters Jokic and Jamal Murray from their line-up. The absentees were barely felt by Denver though, who startled the Warriors early at San Francisco’s Chase Center and led for most of the game. The Warriors threatened to stage a late rally after slashing the Nuggets’ fourth-quarter lead from 15 points to three points, but Denver pulled away in the closing stages to secure a deserved win. Gordon finished with 38 points, six rebounds and three assists while Michael Porter Jr. provided offensive support with 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. The Warriors were always chasing the game after failing to threaten from long range, making just eight of 33 three-point attempts.

New Zealand vs Pakistan 2nd T20I Live Score Updates: Toss Delayed Due To Wet Outfiled

New Zealand vs Pakistan 2nd T20I Live Cricket Score Updates: After a comprehensive victory against Pakistan in the 1st T20I, New Zealand look to continue the same momentum as the two sides square off in the second match of the series in University Oval, Dunedin. Pakistan, without the likes of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, are looking to create a fresh identity in the shortest format. But, their efforts haven't instilled much confidence in fans or stakeholders at present. Rain in the morning delayed toss at the venue. There's, however, still time for a full 40-over contest to be held. (Live Scorecard)

New Zealand Prime Minister's 'Champions Trophy 2025' Remark Leaves PM Narendra Modi Amused - Video

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was left amused by his New Zealand counterpart Christopher Luxon's hilarious comment on the Champions Trophy 2025 final during their meeting on Monday. During his address, Luxon said that he deliberately avoided to talk about cricket and the Champions Trophy final in order to prevent a "diplomatic incident". India defeated New Zealand in the summit clash to claim the Champions Trophy 2025 title in Dubai. Luxon also mentioned the 3-0 Test series win for New Zealand in India last year that ultimately knocked the Rohit Sharma-led side out of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final race.

Pakistan Pacers "Not The Best": Ex-CSK Star Namedrops Shaheen, Haris, Naseem In Epic Dig

Former England all-rounder Moeen Ali has dismissed the notion that Pakistan always produce the best fast bowlers. Moeen cited the example of current pace trio of Pakistan -- Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah -- saying that they are good, but not great. Pakistan had a tournament to forget as they crashed in the group stage of the Champions Trophy at home. The likes of Shaheen, Haris and Naseem all failed to impress, raising doubts over their abilities to take wickets. While Shaeen and Haris were retained in the squad for the ongoing white-ball series against New Zealand, Naseem had to bear the brunt of the team's disappointing Champions Trophy show.

No More 5-Star Hotels, Match Fee Cut As PCB Suffers Rs 869 Crore Loss In Champions Trophy: Report

The state of cricketing affairs in Pakistan was already in disarray, with the men's national team struggling to secure positive results on international cricket. And now, the losses that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) incurred by hosting the ICC Champions Trophy, have reportedly burnt a big hole in the board's pocket. The PCB is said to have incurred a mind-boggling loss of USD 85 million (INR 869 crore) by hosting the Champions Trophy, a tournament in which they played just one game at home.
