India women's cricket team star batter Shafali Verma on Thursday scripted history. The right-handed batter became the first India cricket team player to score a fifty at the Asian Games. Shafali bullied an inexperienced Malaysian attack in the quarter-final match with a blazing 67-run knock that came off only 39 balls. The star batter raced to the historic half-century in 31 balls with the help of a six down the ground. During her sparkling knock, Shafali Verma hit a total of four fours and five sixes.
