Out-of-favour Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali has accused his country's cricket board of favouritism. Speaking in a recent interaction, Hasan questioned the PCB for sending star batter Saim Ayub for treatment in London, while adding why other players don't get the same privilege. Hasan also recalled the time when he suffered multiple injuries and was out of cricket for lengthy period, revealing that the PCB did not come to his aide at that time. Saim has been out of action since the tour of South Africa last month, and will take no part in the upcoming Champions Trophy. He suffered a right ankle fracture and is currently in London for rehabiliation.

In the latest visuals that have been shared on social media from the venue, India's flag has been placed alongside other participating nations for the Champions Trophy. Many theories were contemplated when the National Stadium didn't feature India's flag a few days before the start of the event. But, all seems to be well now.

Australian great Ricky Ponting will pick Arshdeep Singh over Harshit Rana for India's Champions Trophy opener against Bangladesh here on Thursday with the Rohit Sharma-led side hoping to fill the huge void left by injured pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah. Rana has done alright in the chances he has got ahead of the ICC event but Ponting feels the left-arm pacer Arshdeep is better suited to bowl in all phases of the 50-over game. "I would go with the left-armer and I'd go with Arshdeep (to replace Bumrah)," Ponting said on The ICC Review.
