Virender Sehwag Tears Into Rishabh Pant After Ashutosh Sharma's Successful Heist: 'That Was Your Job'

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) Rishabh Pant has come under the scanner after his side's one-wicket loss to Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2025 on Monday. After posting a huge target of 210 runs, LSG did well to reduce DC to 65/5 at one stage. However, a coming of the ages knock by Ashutosh Sharma led DC to a thrilling win over LSG. Pant missed a stumping chance to dismiss tail-ender Mohit Sharma in the final over with DC needing six from as many balls.

Paulo Bento fired as head coach of the UAE national football team

Paulo Bento has been fired as head coach of the United Arab Emirates football team just hours after a 2-1 win Tuesday over North Korea kept alive its slim automatic hopes of qualification for the 2026 World Cup. That victory, which came with a goal in the 98th minute, puts the UAE four points behind second-place Uzbekistan in Group A with two games remaining. The top two teams from each of the three Asian groups are guaranteed a place in the tournament to be hosted next year by the United States, Canada and Mexico. “The UAE Football Association has decided to dismiss the head coach of the national team, Paulo Bento, along with his coaching staff,” the UAE football association posted on social media. The 55-year-old Portuguese coach led South Korea to the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup, 10 years after he took Portugal to the last four of the European Championships.

Rashid Khan Surpasses Jasprit Bumrah In Elite IPL List Led By Former Mumbai Indians Star

Afghanistan's premier spinner, Rashid Khan, broke India's prime pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah's record to become the third-fastest to reach 150 Indian Premier League (IPL) wickets. Rashid achieved the momentous feat during the Gujarat Titans season opener against Punjab Kings. He had a sole scalp to show for his name in Titan's narrow 11-run defeat, but it was enough to take him past Bumrah and become the third-fastest to reach 150 scalps in the cash-rich league.

"Shreyas Iyer Ready For All Formats": Sourav Ganguly's Big Verdict On India Star

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly believes Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer is the most "improved" batter in the past year and appears to be "ready" for all formats. Shreyas has rediscovered himself after being dropped from BCCI's central contract list for 2023-24. He returned to India's domestic setup, put in the hard yards and returned to international cricket with a new air of swagger. After ending India's triumphant Champions Trophy campaign as the nation's leading run-scorer, Shreyas relished his purple patch of form in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Kane Williamson Explains What Stands Out About Shreyas Iyer: "He Continues To..."

India middle-order mainstay and Punjab Kings' captain Shreyas Iyer continues to "evolve his game" while “adjusting brilliantly” to challenges such as facing short balls, believes New Zealand stalwart Kane Williamson.
