Ajinkya Rahane Sends Subtle Message To National Selectors After CSK Heroics

Ajinkya Rahane never gives up and after surprising the cricketing world with the fastest fifty of IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium, the out of favour India batter yearns to play a Test match at his home ground. On CSK debut, Rahane smashed seven fours and three sixes in his 61 from just 27 balls and the fastest fifty of the season came off just 19 balls. Chasing 158 against Mumbai Indians, CSK finished at 159/3 in 18.1 overs. "I always enjoy playing at Wankhede. I have never played a Test here. I would want to play a Test here," said Rahane, who led India to a famous Test series win in Australia in 2021.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Predicted XI Against Punjab Kings: Time To Drop Harry Brook?

A lackluster start from the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team sees them placed bottom of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 standings, having lost the first couple of games of the tournament. Up against an in-form Punjab Kings side, SRH might be prompted to make some big changes in order to find a team that can start their winning run. While a number of players have disappointed, England star Harry Brook could see himself being sidelined after a string of unimpressive performances for the franchise.

Virender Sehwag Slams DC Skipper David Warner With Brutal "Don't Play In IPL" Remark

Delhi Capitals lost their third match in a row as the David Warner-led side suffered a horror 57-run defeat to Rajasthan Royals. Skipper David Warner, who took over the reins for the season in the absence of Rishabh Pant, scored a half-century himself but didn't impress critics with his pace of scoring runs as the team couldn't get anywhere near Rajasthan's total of 199 runs. Former Delhi Capitals captain Virender Sehwag, issuing a brutal message for Warner, urged the Australian batter to pull up his socks and score quicker runs, or else, "don't play in IPL".

IPL 2023: MS Dhoni's 'Message' At Start Of Season That Set Up Ajinkya Rahane For Success Against Mumbai Indians

Ajinkya Rahane was one of the stars for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their dominant victory over Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Saturday. Rahane's stunning 19-ball half-century earned him many plaudits but it wasn't all going right for the veteran batter until this game as he was sitting on the bench for the franchise's first two. At the post-match presentation ceremony, CSK skipper MS Dhoni revealed the conversation he had with Rahane at the start of the season.

Deepak Chahar Could Miss 4-5 Games Of IPL 2023 Season, Suggests CSK Legend Suresh Raina

Chennai Super Kings dealt with a bitter blow on Saturday as they lost marquee pacer Deepak Chahar early into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 contest against Mumbai Indians. Chahar sustained an injury that saw his bowling spell being limited to just one over and now, he could miss the franchise's next few IPL games after his left hamstring injury seemed to have resurfaced once again. Chahar was out for a better part of 2022 due to a hamstring injury and it was frustrating to see him hobbling after bowling one over against Mumbai Indians.
