Mumbai Indians' IPL 2023 match against Kolkata Knight Riders was a special one for Tendulkar household as the youngest member of the family Arjun made his debut in the top T20 league. Arjun and Sachin Tendulkar are now the first father-son duo to play in the IPL. After the debut, former players and celebrities congratulated Arjun on social media. In the match against KKR, Arjun bowled two overs of left-arm pace and gave away 17 runs.

Mumbai Indians thrashed Kolkata Knight Riders by five wicket in their previous IPL 2023 match. The five-time champions are now all set to take on SunRisers Hyderabad on Tuesday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Match against KKR was a memorable one as MI included debutants Arjun Tendulkar and Duan Jansen in their Playing XI. Chasing a target of 186, the biggest contribution was made by Ishan Kishan, who smashed 58 off 25 balls. For the past three matches, MI have been missing the services of their star pacer Jofra Archer, who has been out due to an elbow injury. It will be interesting to see whether Archer will make his way back into Playing XI or not.
Former Indian cricket team batter Virender Sehwag had a stern warning for Chennai Super Kings bowlers with respect to the massive number of extras conceded by them. The number of wides and no-balls has been the source of major concern this season and even skipper MS Dhoni has spoken at length about the problem. Due to the alarming number of extras, CSK have faced difficulties in finish their overs within the stipulated time and Sehwag believes that this can ultimately result in a ban for Dhoni. The former India opener warned the bowlers that such a ban can be very harmful for CSK.

The 2016 champions posted a whopping total of 228/4 in 20 overs after Harry Brook slammed the maiden century of the season. Later, KKR were restricted to 205/7 despite fighting knocks of 75 and 58* from Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh respectively. As the Aiden Markram-led side is all set to face the five-time champions in Hyderabad, they are likely to go ahead with their same Playing XI.
